Name a book (or books) from a country other than your own that you love. Or aren’t there any?I have several books that I absolutely love to read that are "foreign,"if you will. I would have to say that my top choice, simply because they keep me entertained, are easy to read, and are great for a bit of an escape would be the Harry Potter series (British). I can almost be a kid again while reading those! I'm also a big fan of Jane Austen. Pride & Prejudice would be my favorite with Persuasion following a close second. Most British authors really appeal to me for whatever reason, so I'd say that books from the UK would be my favorite. Another author that I enjoy is Dostoevsky (Russia). I actually took a class in Russian history, and some of my seminar classes in college required books by him. Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed reading his work. So, those are my foreign books that I love. What about you?
