I'm Finally Back!

Hello to all my fabulous readers! I'm finally back.  Lots of changes have happened in my life in the past several months.  I've posted a few times but not much.  But I am back again to stay.

You may have noticed that I moved my blog back to Blogger from WordPress.org/GoDaddy hosting.  For you techies and bloggers out there, here's why.  I got tired of paying for hosting monthly.  Yes, it was only $9, but I'd rather have a few Starbucks drinks than pay for hosting.  I chose to move back to Blogger because it's (to me) more customizable.  Sure, WordPress.org blogs are plenty customizable, but Blogger is a tad easier and I can throw in more HTML and CSS without having to work around things and pay for blog designs.  With the right online tools, I can design my own very easily.  So, in a nutshell, I liked the way Blogger looked and I can customize it to my liking much easier than I could with WordPress.

Another thing I want to mention is how I'm going to revamp this blog.  As many of you know, I have migrated all of my old Coffee & Literature blog posts here.  Do I still love books and reviewing them?  OF COURSE!  Will you see that here on SBCS?  Yes.  I'm not abandoning what got me into blogging to begin with.  Most definitely not.  But I am venturing into more things on this blog.  I will still talk about books, organization, & filofaxes/planners, but recently I've been able to focus my efforts into a new business venture that I LOVE.

So, I am going to be posting more about fashion, beauty, and the like.  I am still working out the posts and what might be daily or weekly or monthly, but this is how the blog will change.  I've recently become a merchandiser for Chloe + Isabel, and I love it.  I've resigned to the fact that I may or may not go back to teaching (for a million reasons that have NOTHING to do with teaching itself--I still love and miss that), but now that I'm a housewife but not a mom, I found I needed something to occupy my time. I tried Mary Kay.  That just wasn't for me.  Then C + I kept popping up on my facebook feed.  I checked it out and joined.  I love the jewelry, I love doing styling with it, and I love selling it.  Fashion and style have ALWAYS been dreams and pursuits of mine.  In fact my true dream would be to own a small boutique that carries sizes 0-24.  Yes, ALL SIZES, because I've been ALL SIZES! So this is the beginning of that dream and venture.

So, look for some jewelry, fashion, style, & beauty posts mixed in with all that wonderful stuff about books and planners.  Until next time!!
